Check out Rob’s review of the Cambridge Introduction to Biblical Hebrew by Brian Webster.
My own review will be posted shortly, but do check Rob’s post out. Rob is whip smart and really knows his Hebrew, so he’s in a good position to offer a thorough review of this text. Enjoy!
[UPDATE: I just posted my own review here.]

Mike, you shouldn’t have. Okay, maybe you should have! Thanks for the plug.

Since Biblical Hebrew hasn’t changed in the past 3000 years and good Hebrew grammars in English have been written for several hundred years now, is there anything new that yet another Hebrew grammar can add? But still reading another one is interesting!

Actually, yes. I’ll try to explicate what exactly is new about this grammar when I post my own review in due course. Stay tuned!

Yes, good point, Rob. I thought about pointing “Hebrew Student” to it, but I assumed that he or she would have already been headed over there.
BTW – You might be able to publish that review, perhaps in BibSac or, if you beefed it up a bit, RBL. Just a thought.
